“It is a beautiful mansion, full of history. Myra and Samantha were so friendly, attentive and kind. The walk around the small lake was refreshing and there were many fuzzy little goslings walking around. AC was great and the water pressure in the bathroom was very good. We were in The Chapel room. Very spacious. My only semi complaint was the bed was too firm for me, but I slept well. The only noises I heard were the birds chirping outside our window every morning. I would stay there again!”

“The hotel is beautiful and our room was well appointed. The staff was super friendly and responded quickly to a thermostat issue we had in our room. Our room was a V2 suite in the 2nd building. My only recommendation is that they add a covered walkway between the 2 buildings to protect from weather. ”

“The place looks beautiful online and bass pro shops has a reputable name so we payed the extra 20.00 a night to stay here but in person it’s a bit run down and the room was small. We actually needed to stay a second night in town and didn’t want to move our stuff so asked how much a second night would be. The price went up 30.00 over night. We weren’t paying $50 extra a night for that room again. We went somewhere else and payed less than $100. for a larger room that was more updated. ”

“Staff here has been very friendly during both our visits. The suites are well equipped for longer stays, which is convenient for those with family members at Mercy Hospital across the street. Highly recommended. ”
