“Unlike many, I do not sleep well in quiet. I knew there was a pub below and my day was a long (8 hours alone at the Warner Studios) & a tiring one so the noise allowed me to fall asleep immediately. I woke up only once when it had gone quiet, very quiet for being on an artery, and that did not stop me from going right back to sleep. The only wrinkle was on leaving. While we did have a helpful guide in the room, it did not include what to do with our keys. Fortunately for me, I did not have an……

“A good budget hotel near St Albans. The room is small but clean. Facilities are new and tidy. Not much choice for breakfast but good for the option for taken away.”

“Stayed for 2 nights. The hotel offers an excellent location right next to the Watford Junction station, and a 5-muinutes walk to the Watford High Street. The room was clean and well-maintained. We opted for the breakfast and it was a good choice. Not a wide food selection but everything served was of great quality. Very nice coffee too! The staff were also very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.”

“Super friendly check in clerk. Breakfast was included in our stay. The beds were comfy! We stayed here to tour WB studios; it was about a 10 minute uber ride. It’s right across from the train station so easily walkable. ”

“Wonderful find! Took stress out of hospital appointment the following morning. Wonderful charming host Raj and warm lovely housekeeper Jessica. Rooms large and airy, only downside is shared bathrooms but immaculately spotless and clean. Breakfast of dreams, whatever you want, cooked fresh to order. Bring slippers as there is a shoeless policy when you arrive.”
