“We loved our stay at The Charthouse, and are so glad we got the chance to visit and explore Torquay. The location is within walking distance of the beach, the town itself, and a picturesque path suitable for dog walks (Note: If you own a dog that doesn't like other dogs, this path may not be suitable, as there are a lot of other dogs, some off lead). Lisa & Christophe were great hosts - Lisa being a friendly welcome face each and every morning, and Christophe cooking a hearty full English……

“Loved our stay at the Torcroft! The B&B is clean, comfortable & modern and most importantly quiet at nighttime so you’ll have a peaceful sleep. The honesty bar and Mediterranean style garden was perfect for relaxing and enjoying drinks at sunset and the breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious. Great location 5 minutes walk from Torre railway station and 15 minutes walk from seafront and town. Easy drive to local towns like Brixham, Dawlish, Teignmouth and about 45 mins to Plymouth. I'd stay here again definitely. ”

“Beautiful B&B on a hill, but walkable to the bay and wharf and many dining options. The Bay Area is a little tacky with pin ball, casinos bars etc, but we had a very nice dinner at a spot called “Local” and it was walking distance to our lodging.”

“Lovely luxury b&b in Torquay. Room had everything we needed and more. Breakfasts are ordered the night before to save on wastage which is understandable. Owners were lovely and available if needed as there isn't a front desk. Will definitely visit again when coming to Torquay.”

“It smelt amazing as we entered, everything was so clean and looked fresh, The manager was so friendly and offered lots of information about the hotel, and made you feel very welcome. The room was small but adequate and the bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was amazing and nothing was to much for them, we were booked into a different hotel for our 2nd night but would of loved to have stayed her for that night, they did offer to try sort out our other booking but I had already paid that company.……

“Absolutely amazing. We love our weekend stay from first minute. Jan and Steve very friendly and professional. Property very clean and nicely decorated. Our room very cosy ✨️ bed very comfy we had very very good sleep. We was there with our dog which was just spoiled. You have in the room everything what you need. Even blanket and bowls for doggy 🐕 we recommend for everyone and families and couples. 5min walk one way to the centre and 5 min to the beach. Definitely very good location. Will……
