“ELATED to be able to stay at my grandparents’ home in Wonewoc again (they owned the house for over 65 years). As a child (and only the granddaughter), I spent summers there swinging on the porch swing with my grandpa while he sang, “You are My Sunshine,” to me…Catching turtles in the creek, trying on my grandma’s trendy clothing from the 1930’s in the attic, feeding my grandpa’s fish in the spring-fed well (basement), etc. It was (and still is) a very magical place. “What a lovely little home. My sister and I stayed here for a weekend away. We loved this little home, it was thoughtfully decorated, well labeled, easy to get to / get in / check out. We enjoyed hiking in the snow in the property and met a sweet pup. From here we drove just 5 minutes to the Omaha trail to have a lovely 5 mile hike. I was delighted by the coffee supply, and my sister by the mini-bar. Lovely linens, and kitchen supplies and immaculately clean. We're hoping to make this spot……

“We had the pleasure of getting a little snow during our stay which was awesome.But the roads from the cabin were sloppy with the melt the following day and we had trouble getting out to go for a grocery run. Kirsty and Kyle were very helpful and were kind enough to bring us some coffee and flour. Really great folks and a very beautiful and private location. Great space to reset from reality. Highly recommend.”
