“good and quiet place for relax”

“Mill Lodge is located in a quiet side street with pubs and food shopping nearby. Our compact accommodation was very clean, cosy, comfortable and had all we needed, with a generous supply of teas, coffee and Welsh cakes in the room. At breakfast, there was a wide choice of quality ingredients to choose from, carefully prepared and presented in impeccable style. A nice touch was the freshly squeezed orange juice. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. ”

“Lovely clean and recently renovated room. Front of the property and on the first floor so a stunning view of Cardiff and Caerphilly mountain. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice and quality items on the menu. All the staff were amazing, very helpful and friendly. Beautiful hotel and stunning views. “We spent 4 nights at the Kings Head and it was a perfect place to stay. The newly renovated bedrooms and bathrooms were pristine and very roomy, and the breakfasts were delicious, especially the local sausages. Stepping into the bar was like going through a time portal into the 1600's: there was a cozy fire burning, low beamed ceilings, and pewter tankards hanging from hooks. The fresh local fish on the daily special's menu was superb. But best of all was the attentive, friendly service from……

“Very clean and well equipped. Check in information good. Getting information on how to check out at 1:55 in the morning was less than helpful as it woke us up. We have to leave some alerts on as husband receives medical alerts overnight. It may not be a problem for those who can switch a do not disturb on. Also had to message to request an internet password for the medical monitoring. Owner was very helpful and provided it straight away but it would be helpful to have it available if internet is……
