“Great newish motel”

“It is a very nice place to stay for a holidays. The environment is extremely good. Total privacy during the stay. The food is fabulous. Should stay longer.”

“I loved the quiet, the charm & character of the 1940s building, the collection of antique medical objets & historic local photos. It was cosy and a comfortable warmth thanks to the central radiator heating throughout. I was definitely not too hot in my room. Very clean & all the facilities that I needed - access to a large freezer & a bath was a welcome added bonus also. Lovely grounds. Very friendly, helpful & welcoming service from the manager Shontal.”

“因为原来想订的地方全订完了所以在这个小镇找的旅馆，没想到是意外的惊喜，MOTEL房间非常宽敞，厨房设施齐全，卫生间是新西兰少有的手持龙头，给孩子洗澡非常方便，旁边的小溪里有数不清的河鳗，别忘了带点面包过去喂食，十几秒后会有壮观的景象！孩子非常喜欢这里，环境清静优美。”

“It was a great little getaway, and we could imagine in summer it would be even nicer being able to enjoy the outdoor picnic spots by the pond. We arrived late in the day and were quite peckish, so enjoying a beautiful fresh loaf of bread, butter and cheese that greeted us when we arrived was lovely - along with a bottle of wine for later and a ginger beer for our young one. Even though we came in winter, the West Coast scenery and atmosphere never disappoints, and the house was lovely and……

“We stayed at the property for one night after a sports event. Jed was great to deal with and always prompt in returning emails and answering questions, he went out of his way to help and let us park our race car inside the shed as the car does not lock and we were concerned it might attract unwanted attention. rooms very clean and tidy and a good shower. ten out of ten from me.”

“Awesome little stopover property! Although the heat inside the bus is largely dictated by the tempterature outside, the hosts have fans/heaters to combat this. The outdoor shower is awesome, and everything in town (dinner, groceries, swimming) is walkable!”
