“Booked overnight stay as sailing from Southampton the next day. Lovely place, well equipped, clean and great situation. We got the train to Romsey and walked from the station, a nice flat walk, took about 20 minutes with our luggage. Breakfast was delicious, a great start to the day. Graeme the owner was extremely accommodating and helpful, arranged transport into Southampton on the Saturday morning. Found a spare travel plug for us when we realised we had forgotten ours. “Check in was easy. I was greeted at the front entrance after ringing the bell. The front door remains locked and only opened by your room key or from the inside which makes for a safe secure feeling. Parking is free and right outside the main door with ample spaces surrounding a lovely grassed area with wooden benches and trees.
