“Set in a lovely situation, away from all the hustle & bustle! The woodland walk on property that we asked about was actually no longer accessible, but just walking along the long driveway provided nice views of the countryside and flower-farm in the distance! We made use of the bar menu for our evening meal, and the breakfast buffet was good. The spa (Sunday daytime) was very quiet which was perfect. The staff were really nice and friendly. “The staircase to our room is winding, and I need to go up and down before arriving at my room. The wall is thin and is not very sound proof, so I can hear what next door's saying and TV noise. It could be disturbing to someone during time for bed. There could be some seepage at the bath tub as there was a pool of water on the toilet floor after my shower, even though there was a glass door to stop water from splashing over to the floor. The car park is conveniently placed. The English breakfast……

“The room we booked "Damson" was very well equipped, spolessly clean and very comfortable. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive giving good advice about both food and drink choices. Our only issue was the noise when trying to sleep. This was NOT the fault of the owners. The weather was very nice and customers were understandably making the most of this. Our room was spotless and cloud‑soft, with countryside views that drew us onto the estate’s miles of walking trails. Between strolls we dipped into the airy indoor pool and the outdoor Jacuzzi that faces rolling fields.
