I learned from a local client after our stay how much effort had been put into redeveloping the immediate area by the owners, and now realise how much credit is due to them in keeping the area around the Ironbridge national relic so well kept. Any quibbles about finding the place and the car park are to be expected in such a place, follow the instructions to the letter and it's fine. For leisure it's probably worth staying a few days to……
“A beautiful old inn with modern features in a setting that overlooks the Sevrn River. The staff is friendly and very efficient. The rooms are well appointed and excellently maintained. There is an elegant bar and restaurant where the food and drink was delicious. They have a great entertaining space outdoors where you can have a party or entertain a group. We had a fun and relaxing stay and would happily return.”

The brass-rail bed was super comfortable and my breakfast was cooked excellently by Peter, the other half of this welcoming (and hardworking) couple. “What a beautiful place. Sue was a fantastic communicator and texted me the details the day before to ensure an easy check in process. When we arrived, wow!! The outside of the property is like a post card idyllic. The inside was absolutely beautiful also. All original flooring with a modern twist. Room was clean, welcoming and just stunning. Really loved the window shutters. All our needs were catered for down to the fresh organic milk which was simply divine. We decided we didn’t want to leave……
