We enjoyed our morning coffee on the outside deck.and unlike other rentals, the owner provide little amenities such as coffee, creamer, shampoo & and other things. Easy drive to shopping & other activities. Great place for this mom & daughter team to have fun and relax!”

“We were the first to rent this property and it did not disappoint! The pictures are exactly as they are in real life, though there is now a shade over the pool to keep it nice and cold throughout the day. The stairs are very steep inside, especially to the downstairs with low headroom but it makes it fun and adds to the uniqueness of the property! There is plenty of parking but be warned the hill going up to the house is very steep and narrow, it gets easier after going up and down a time or……

“We’ve been going to Double Dog cabins for 7 or 8 years now. We love how peaceful the place is. It’s like a little piece of heaven just for you to enjoy. I can’t say enough about how much we enjoy going. The accommodations are amazing. You have everything you need already there. Even a washer and dryer. It deserves more than 5 stars. ”

“Lovely place to escape the busy city/suburban life as a family while still having a grocery store 15 minutes away. Nicely furnished, full kitchen with appliances, relaxing patio with a harmonious nature view from all angles. The nearly absolute silence is one of the best parts. True clean, forest air, which you notice immediately. Do not be surprised if you see a few scary critters outside--it is secluded after all. Overall an unregrettable experience. Even our 21 month old loved it!”

“The cabin was clean and had the essentials. The renter provided great communication.The cabin is miles from any major road. It's serene and peaceful. Wild animals all around. It takes about 30 minutes to get to Fredericksburg because of the winding dirt roads.Consider the weather for this property. Bad weather could make the cabin inaccessible.”
