“Good: The hotel is well located and impressive in its public areas. All the staff are friendly and polite The breakfast is very good Not so good: The room itself was not too impressive. The room was stuffy, safe didn’t work, and the shower was a trickle. Overall location 10 out of 10 so if you are out and about exploring York all day and arriving/departing by train it would be good choice. If you want to relax in your room then I would recommend a different room category or another hotel. ”

“Great hotel with fantastic food and staff. Rooms was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Time between ordering food and it being served was a slight issue at breakfast (30 minutes seemed excessive for beans and poached eggs) but was just about worth the wait. Only one car charging station working wasn’t ideal either but will definitely be back. ”

“Great 2 night stay, slight issue with Expedia which Tony sorted out for us swiftly, great service and a fantastic room, luxurious pillows and bedding/mattress so slept so well and didn’t hear any outside noise. The room has loads of technology if you want to use it. The aircon was a great extra and was lovely and quiet.The breakfast was really good, loads of choice and quality food.
