“Overall, I had a great stay. The design of the hotel was stylish and thoughtfully curated—modern, with a sophisticated color palette that I really loved. The only downside was the noise from the room above. Every late night and early morning, I could clearly hear footsteps overhead, and even the ceiling light fixture in my room would rattle with a metallic or glass-clinking sound. “The accommodation was very modern and clean. The location of VIC hotel was amazing. Next to the station and we could walk to Naturalis and the centre of leiden. The breakfast was at Tulip Inn. This was very busy and there where not enough tables for everybody. We had room 107 next to the street, but there was no noise and we sleep very well.”

Disappointing service

"I emailed the hotel as my check in time 7am, that's why I booked extra day, the hotel confirmed by email. But when i checked in they cannot find my record, also i requested room close to elevator as i had many luggage, they put me at the last room at the end of corridor."

The only downside was the noise from the room above. It was quite unsettling and affected my rest. If the sound insulation between floors could be improved, it would make the experience so much better. That said, the aesthetic of the space was beautiful, and I truly appreciated the hotel’s unique and elevated design. "
