“A great place to stay if you are visiting the McDonald Observatory. It’s quiet, very comfortable and fully furnished. Hosts were supportive and patient. My family fell in love with this place to a level we are likely to come back early next year.”

“The location is only 4 minutes drive to Big Bend which is a big plus for us. We stayed there 4 nights, and the host is responsive and keep the trash in our room cleaned every day. The check in and check out thrue texting is also convenient for us because we check in late and check out early thanks to the smart door lock. The layout is practical and in room appliances (microwave, fridge, hair blower) are also help us staying in there for easy breakfast and dinner. Overall, I recommend this……

“The property was wonderfully decorated and initial supplies plentiful. A very quiet and peaceful experience. The location provided a unique change from our normal flatland home. The only negative involved the loss of internet connection and the contact number provided in the guide for reporting issues did not elicit a response. The outage proved to be a system problem beyond the control of the host. ”

“Everything we needed was provided. Coffee, shampoo, soap and lotions. Enjoyed the rooftop deck at night for star gazing.”
