“This was a fantastic and enjoyable stay right in the heart of arundel and only a few paces from the castle. The staff were very friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble. The breakfast was simply amazing with fresh fruit cereals and a full English was of excellent taste and quality and even included black pudding! Fresh milk on a thermos flask for the bedroom read was a really nice touch and so much better to make a cup of tea than those little tins of long life in most rooms. Now I want……

“Room is ok, breakfast is great, unfortunately after I had breakfast water supply stopped in the hotel. Maintenance work is understandable, but should remind guests beforehand so they can be better prepared.”

“Lovely country hotel with beautiful gardens and pool. We had a very comfortable 'Superior double' room on the ground floor with access to a patio area. We were in a party of 10 celebrating a friendship of 50 years duration and used the private dining area. The breakfast and dining was very reasonably priced and good and the junior staff were exceptional, however the senior staff we encountered were less welcoming. The bar closed very early (10 pm the first night and 10:30 on Saturday night) and……

“Great hotel with pub and restaurant, in a tudor building from the 1700s. The staff were excellent, super friendly and gave me a lot of information about the area, things to do. Only drawback is that due to the age of the building there was a bit of noise from other rooms”
