“The room was spacious and had a lovely view of the river and gardens,The receptionist on our arrival was very friendly and informative, giving us some useful advice about the area, that we acted upon. We only stayed one night here and we booked an evening meal as well as breakfast. The room was nicely decorated and had a large comfy bed with pillows that were soft and fresh. Our evening meal was enjoyable but we had to wait a while to get our food and drink order as there was some inexperienced……

“This hotel is of a top standard that many hotels could learn from. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return. This hotel is the perfect half way stop between Aberdeen and the Midlands. Room was excellent. Service faultless. Restaurant and food top quality. Limited food choice but all top quality selection for all tastes. We loved this hotel. “Another lovely stay in this fabulous pub. Our double room was spotless. Well decorated and some nice little touches inc the well stocked tea/coffee tray. Great location and views to the rear from the beer garden are spectacular. Can’t wait to return soon. Staff so friendly and welcoming too. ”
