“Lovely hotel !! The service was excellent throughout and the room lovely. The food in the upper deck was fantastic and the drinks on the lawn were very enjoyable.
Only small gripe was that the room was extremely hot and the wedding guests from the wedding that was also going on were very loud below the room so we could not open the window.

“This is a lovely hotel in the perfect location for a visit to Christchurch. The premier room we had was huge and well appointed. The aircon was very useful in the hot weather we had. We got the early check in, which I recommend as it’s easier to find a parking spot earlier in the day. The staff were very friendly and even gave us a free welcome drink. We will definately stay here again.”

“Very nice property with many period features (it was a railway station originally).
Staff were friendly and helpful. We know the fire alarm system works as it went off at 11.30PM (fortunately set off by steam from a shower not a fire).
Only observation was that the breakfast seemed expensive didn't find out the quality as we went elsewhere.”
