“We have been staying at Grand Colony for years. The reason we keep returning is the convenience of walking down the beach to the dive shop, having a full size kitchen and individual bedrooms for everyone. There are no amenities to speak of. No restaurant, no bar, no spa, the beach chairs have seen better days but so has the beach. The sea grass is nothing Grand Colony can help but it does make the ocean unswimable. “My husband and I walked from the water taxi to the Great House Inn - hot but less than 8 minutes (with our luggage), so appreciated the location. Reception was on 2nd floor, but as soon as we got there, an attendant took all our luggage up. Receptionist was awesome and SUPER helpful. “Beautiful property in a surreal environment. The staff was wonderful, and the fiod was excellent! We gad a ruver view room, whichbwas amazing. Only down side was we could hear our neighbors through the walls. Other than that no issues. Marvin, a tour guide, was the best! So very nice and professional with a vast knowledge of the flora and fauna, history, etc. ”
