“I liked the resort overall. The dislike was that they advertise a pool and pool bar, with a small wood fired pizza restaurant by the pool. One evening they closed the bar early around 5:00ish and were closing the pool at 7:30 due to a slower day. Our family had come back from the day excursion looking to hang out the rest of the evening to use the pool and pool bar and eat at the restaurant. “When we arrived at the hotel, the whole site smelled of sewage. The restaurant area, the grounds, the pool area. When we asked why they said the pipes had broke. But when we tried to get our monies back and leave there was no manager at the hotel. The desk person said the manager lives in Mexico. When even Expedia tried to get in touch with the hotel to get a refund for us they coudln't get an answer. ”

“The staff at this property was incredible- they learned me and my son’s name by day two of our stay- and they were on top of everything. The resort offers free bikes and kayaks, loved that. Food at the restaurant was good, ceviche at dock bar was outstanding. Overall, property and room were clean. Unexpected treat was the fire pit with s’mores for the kids nightly. Highly recommend staying here. ”

“It waa great, especially for the price for 3 people. We had 2 queens & a sofa bed & everything was very comfortable & clean. We lovec the pool & the restaurant was nice too. The staff was very nice & gave us a lil tour & brought our bags to our room. The only negative thing for some people is no elevator. Still, highly recommend!!”

“We stayed here for our 20th anniversary and enjoyed it so much! The staff are so welcoming and attentive and the resort is well-maintained and clean in a good location. We stayed in a seafront suite and could see the water from our room. The plunge pool could be more private but the view was great. You have to visit the Big Dock Bar and Edgar will take good care of you! We really enjoyed the breakfast options at Paddle House but preferred dinner at Chef Rob’s a few doors down. The vibe is……

“Our stay at Abezza was fantastic and everything was amazing. We stayed for 3 nights, and Melanie was a great host. The food was delicious, and the Spa is world class. Highly recommend getting a mood mud massage. 10/10 would recommend staying here and I will definitely be booking another trip here in the future! ”
