“We had a good stay at the property, staff was very friendly and helpful, bed was huge and very comfortable, comfy pillows too, nice specious room which was tad dated but was clean enough not to spoil our stay. Good pub attached to the hotel, great that it had little play area to keep little ones happy and on the day we arrived there was a bouncy castle which was huge bonus. “The staff were lovely , very obliging and professional. We had a very nice bedroom very clean, just too many steps for my husband, however the young man on the desk when we arrived carried up our case, which we were very grateful for . “We had a fabulous 1 night stay, room was beautiful, patio area was great too. Only negative feedback was no milk and only a coffee machine which was awful for tea drinkers as the water tastes like coffee still. Saying this however we would come back and just bring a kettle! :0)”

“We stayed 2 nights in a 2nd floor room over looking the courtyard. The staff were all very welcoming & friendly. The breakfast had a good variety, nice and hot & cooked well which is not always the case for buffet style breakfasts. The location is good for the Peak District. Plenty of parking & although due to weather we were not able to enjoy it, the outside area was very pretty. The bathroom could benefit from a little work. Overall Good Location, welcome staff, excellent breakfast.”
