“The rooms we had were a big step above the student rooms we had back in the 1980's although they could benefit from better ventilation in hot weather. The fact they had ensuite facilities and lifts helped greatly. The breakfast was very good indeed and the staff very professional and friendly.”

“I found the hotel perfect for a short stay in Torquay. Only a 10 minute walk to the seafront and free parking just outside the entrance. I had a lovely cooked breakfast every morning with some extra treats. Really friendly place and I'm going back there in the summer. I'm using the hotel as a base to meet my friends who return to Torquay twice a year.”

“Really nice bear garden to relax after a long days work, great local beers. The staff are absolutely amazing, go above and beyond. I visited on a business trip, having to leave early each day at 7am, thus missing breakfast. When the bar staff heard this, they arranged for a breakfast to go for me each morning. I thought this was a great touch, couldn’t ask for anymore. The food in the restaurant was outstanding, suck an enjoyable stay. The location has such character, floorboards creak, you name……
