“We were in Jax to enjoy family. We decided to view the friendship fountain which was fabulous. The hotel has a walkway along the River straight to the fountain. It felt safe and family friendly. The Doubletree is also at the foot of the Main Street Bridge and were able to drive downtown Jax to restaurants and eateries. The pool area was great and Ruth Chris' restaurant was wonderful; both food and staff. Wonderful time!”

“I had a pleasant stay overall. The young front desk guy with curly hair was not only handsome but also extremely kind — truly six-star service! “We checked out this morning and will be back! The clerk at front desk was awesome and good at his job. The facility is actually an older motel, not a hotel, but in great condition. Room was spacious and clean with a fresh smell. Bed was comfortable and linens were clean. Plenty of towels, etc. Pool is really big and clean. Full breakfast was really good. I wasn’t feeling well when I arrived, and he allowed me to check in early, which I really appreciated. The hotel was clean and comfortable, definitely worth five stars. The only downside was the service from housekeeping. Just as I entered the room and was about to shower, someone knocked loudly and impatiently on the door. Even after I said “just a second,” they kept knocking. When I opened the door, the person said something I couldn’t catch and left. Later, I called to request extra towels — it took two calls, and when they finally arrived, the staff knocked just as rudely again. Still, thanks to the great front desk service and clean room, it was a mostly good experience."
