“Everything was great! Customer service was also great! It was clean and they served a good breakfast. The pool and Jacuzzi was the highlight of our visit. The only complaint was the restaurant was closed and that was the reason we chose it. But it was centrally located to many good restaurants so it made up for that. The room and the common areas was very clean! Overall, a very pleasurable experience. ”

“The hotel is a bit older, so there are some things to be aware of. The pool is not heated so it's very cold so you probably won't be doing a lot of swimming. The water tanks aren't very big so for those people who like to take long showers this is not the hotel for you. But on the plus side the location is absolutely perfect it's very close to Frenchman Street and the French market and getting around is very easy because the streetcar stops right there at the end of the line and you're right……

“Check-in and everything during the stay was easy. Hotel has a great vibe and handy location. I imagine some of the rooms by the street might have been a little noisy, but we had no issues during our stay over a weekend. We had a car and parking was easy, and not too expensive in the lot on the same block as the hotel. ”

“I want to discourage everyone from staying at the Royal Frenchman… in order to keep this place to myself! Don’t stay here if want a modern hotel, with many modern amenities, lacking in character and charm. Don’t stay if colorful staff with a passion for the music of New Orleans ( which they bring nightly to the hotel lobby or courtyard) is not your thing. Don’t stay if listening to music wafting in from Frenchman street late into the night seems annoying. But you have a passion for the people,……

“This hotel is all about location. walking distance to everything you want to experience about French Quarter.--- Fresh Market, Frenchmen Street (which I loved- music, dancing, great restaurants). Bourbon Street (not so much- unless you're one of the young, obnoxious drunks), I would say this hotel would be a gem if the rooms were updated. a little paint and caulk would go a long way. The bed was uncomfortable and the sheets had stains and holes. The tub and shower curtain had mildew,……
