“CAUTION. Spent 3 weeks in Italy and this is the only place I had issues with. The air con is non functional - on/off only with some (warmish) air. Open the window and hear the train that is right below. Host doesn’t speak English and was not flexible. We left 2 days early without refund. Even at the extra expense I could not stay in that room. It was the end of the trip and ruined an otherwise great holiday. Terrible experience. And don’t be fooled by the title Trastevere. That is the name of……

“Nice rooms, nice bathroom, nice bed, clean. Hard to get hot water though. Even though there is free street parking, it is impossible to find a legal parking spot. We also have to lock the door with a key once inside the room in order to lock the door. If one person leaves with the key, it's a fire hazard as there are large metal grills over the windows and you need the key to get out of the room.”
