“We were visiting Charleston for a wedding. We wanted close to the historic district and couldn’t have found a more perfect location. It was an easy walking distance to view the beautiful historic homes as well as getting to the Market area for shopping. Our events were on Isle of Palms and we zipped over there in approximately fifteen minutes both evenings. Perfect!! The hotel is spotless and the room was truly excellent. The staff and valet were extremely courteous and helpful. A big shout out……

“Beautiful, large room that comfortably fit a family of five with a balcony overlooking the market square. Great service. Loved all the complementary items (breakfast, wine, cheese & charcuterie, all day candy, tea, coffee & fruit, cookies, milk & port at night). Great to be in the heart of the French Quarter for first time visitor yet the hotel still felt safe and quiet.”

“We loved our stay. The hotel is beautiful, seems brand new. The bathroom and amenities were great! The bed was very comfortable. The turndown service with baked goods was so nice! We loved the homemade granola, included delicious breakfast, free snacks in the room and drinks and snacks available all day in the lobby. We didn’t make it to the happy hour, but it sounded great. Would love to stay again! We highly recommend! We also enjoyed the free bicycles and helmets. ”

“We booked our room last minute for a one night stopover from wintering in Florida. What a great room which actually was a well fitted 1 bedroom apt. So clean. Such nice amenities. We even had a secure parking spot with our bikes. Great location, a few blocks from King street. Would love to return!! ”

“Location is perfect with beautiful views from the rooftop deck and so close to many shops and restaurants, service is absolutely top notch, the most friendly and accommodating staff ever, rooms are clean and luxurious, breakfast and happy hour were both excellent. “Cool, historic inn in a beautiful part of Charleston. Richard was a gracious host, and we enjoyed wine and charcuterie on the porch. A note re: our room. We booked a room that was on the "ground" floor, which was more or less the basement or carriage house floor. It was fine, but I envisioned something a little different. Also, as we were drifting off to sleep, there was a sound in the walls that sounded like scratching...almost like an animal was in the walls. But, all in all, we enjoyed……

“The owner thought of everything we would need. The attention to details is what makes this place special. Courtney has created a tiny home in a room full of comfort. The extra pillows, the coffee maker with creamer and and the makeup remover wipes all enhanced an already amazing room. There is an amazing Pizza place within walking distance. Lyft is so convenient and affordable here as well. Our stay was wonderful! A perfect getaway for our springbreak! ”
