“Very comfortable”

“While there are other houses visible, this property was extremely quiet and relaxing. Great location, "civilization" easily accessible...just a short drive. Hope to stay again when we're more physically mobile (one broken back and one broken leg... hopefully we'll be fully recovered soon). Plenty of historic sites nearby.”

“The reason I am writing this review is because of one person. I don’t know her last name but her first name is Pat, she is in charge of the kitchen for breakfast. I had misunderstood the time given for breakfast, so when we came down there was nothing left. She saw that I was upset, came over and offered to make us something really quick. She went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. ”

“The cottage was super cozy; I absolutely loved it. Although our stay was short, I enjoyed it very much because of this cottage and Katy. Katy made sure we had everything we needed at all times, and she was an amazing host. I definitely would recommend this VRBO experience to anyone and everyone!”

“Awesome building! Size of the loft was amazing! Great for our four year old son to run around after being in the car all day. In our next hotel in Roanoke (typical hotel room) our son kept opening the closet and bathroom doors looking for the “rest of the place.” Asking “where’s the rest of the rooms?”Good location. Clean kitchen. Straight forward check-in and out. Loved doing a load of laundry before traveling onto our next location. Beautiful building. Cool history. Great shower too. ”
