“Never been to Watford (from US) but took a chance. Turned out to be an amazing place. Cool old UK pub and above, modern chic rooms. Ann Maria was the bartender and hotel host and she was outstanding and a hoot. She treated us like family from the moment she met us. Sean the manager treated us the exact same way. Brought my daughter, son and son in law to the pub and they loved it as well. Walking distance to Watford Junction station and a great little coffee spot called Viento just around the……

“A good budget hotel near St Albans. The room is small but clean. Facilities are new and tidy. Not much choice for breakfast but good for the option for taken away.”

“Amazing art deco building which looks to have been recently renovated we were fortunate to be in a room located in the original building thats was clean comfortable and great facilties, staff were all very pleasant and accommodating good location for a short trip into St Albans if i had to find a fault it would only have been the location of the staff room next to our room which had the door banging continuously in the early hours, but its an old building so perhaps sound proofing not great in……

“It's very convenient to take train to London center and it had bus fron Heathrow ariprot to Watford Junction. The room is very good and the breakfast is very delicious. If you are not arrive London in the midnight, I suggest you live in this hotel.”

“If you are wanting to stay 25 minutes from London in a quiet English Village the the excellent Red Lion is for you. Don't waste your money in London - go to the countryside and commute for 25 minutes to central London. The Red Lion is the perfect location - great country pub with excellent accomodation.”

“Another enjoyable stay.. welcoming and friendly check in with Maria.. Chris made our special because our trip and stay was my wifes birthday.. This hotel is our accommodation of choice each time we visit London.. Comfortable room every thing you need for overnight stay or longer.. Quiet.. Easy access to the motorway and London the location is great for local amenities and especially if you are visiting Harry potter studios.. Ample parking.. don't forget to register your registration.. Has a bar……
