“Initially, I was hesitant to book this property because it lacked a front desk. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the contactless and seamless experience. I highly recommend this property. The spacious pods were surprisingly comfortable, surpassing the comfort of a hotel room. The cleaning staff was exceptional; I had forgotten to put away my watches and jewelry on the counter, but nothing was touched during the cleaning. “We found a small piece of glass in one of the beds. On Saturday afternoon we got back to the room around 4:00 pm, and the room wasn’t cleaned yet. The cleaning lady told me I have to ask the front desk for cleaning service, otherwise they don’t clean the room. The guy at the front desk told me it wasn’t necessary to ask for cleaning, that it will be done after they finished cleaning the rooms that were reserved directly at the hotel page, because the app reservations go at the end. “Unusual decor reminds one of a spa swim club. Interesting to learn that this was one a place where visiting carpenters stayed, hence the name. We had a private balcony looking into the branches of a large pecan tree. We loved every aspect of our room. And nearby Barton Springs Rd. has lots to offer!”

“The hotel room was just fine although there was a lack of utensils. With the construction ongoing on I-35S it was a challenge to get to in rush hour, otherwise no complaints.”
