“An amazingly beautiful property in a stunning location. Gorgeous rooms and a lovely garden. The owner was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. The cooked breakfast was delicious, and the dining room was like a room from a fairy story.

Broken bathroom fixtures, dirty floors, dirty towels, blocked showers/sinks/toilets, slow service, unfriendly staff ( apart from Vic, Charlie and Amelia who, to be fair, were genuine and tried their best). To call this hotel 5-star is frankly fraud. It’s a shabby hotel, rooms and service 2 stars at best. Do not stay here with your family.”

Advisory......Parking was difficult arriving during a busy period / shift. Not a major problem if you are patient and know / research, the " loop " around the village! Courtyard style carpark and approach road is hyper popular. 9.9/10..... I'll be back!!”
“Lovely room over looking the river. Nice little touch, welcome card from person who cleaned our room, and bed sheets turned down in the early evening. Beautiful old hotel with great vistas. Breakfast was superb.”
