“The Leland House is a really cool historic building just south of Main Street next to Lola's (Great little spot for food). Parking in back down the alley was easy to find, but might be a little tight with a bigger vehicle. Our room was ready early and we were able to check in when we arrived. “James checked me in and put a smile on my face just by being friendly. The room is great and parking is convenient. The AC works, it just needed an hour to get cranking. There's a cool stream nearby. The area is walkable; James recommended Fridas, an excellent Mexican restaurant about 3-4 blocks up the road. Great margaritas and tacos and excellent salsa, an easy walk. The trolley that moves people around town has a stop right here. The wifi is a little slow - but you're in Durango, go outside!”

We were pleasantly surprised as the room was clean, the beds were comfortable, the employees very nice. We both a a great night sleep and could finish our road trip the next morning. ”
