“Not sure how many of the rooms are remodeled but the one we got was and was very nice. They have a good morning breakfast and while they don't have a fitness center onsite, they provide free access to the well-equipped Durango Rec Center just a mile down the street - if you're looking for weights or some post-hiking light exercises. Hadn't stayed there before but would definitely recommend.”
“The Leland House is a really cool historic building just south of Main Street next to Lola's (Great little spot for food). Parking in back down the alley was easy to find, but might be a little tight with a bigger vehicle. Our room was ready early and we were able to check in when we arrived. “We had to make a last minute reservation as we were traveling through and a little afraid based on some of the other reviews. We were pleasantly surprised as the room was clean, the beds were comfortable, the employees very nice. We both a a great night sleep and could finish our road trip the next morning. ”
