“I found the hotel perfect for a short stay in Torquay. Only a 10 minute walk to the seafront and free parking just outside the entrance. I had a lovely cooked breakfast every morning with some extra treats. Really friendly place and I'm going back there in the summer. I'm using the hotel as a base to meet my friends who return to Torquay twice a year.”

“Our room 172 was clean, spacious and included an en-suite walk in shower. Breakfast included English style cooked , yogurt & berries, cereals, fruits, toast with all jams, marmite and honey. mini pastries were also available. We ate in the dining room and from the bar menus. Staff were very professional, kind and gave service with a smile. To note Mel from the Spa was fantastic, we had x2 full hour treatments each ”

“We loved our stay with you. The hotel was so well kept and so clean everywhere. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and airy. I like the touch of water provided each day and the small packets of biscuits. We loved sun bathing by the swimming pool ,but some of the sunbeds could do with a good clean, which only takes seconds with a pressure washer. “Absolutely superb ! Like stepping on board the titanic! Fantastic decor. Staff! efficient polite very clean and tidy. Beautiful building inside. Outside building needs some renovation but ok . Huge spacious rooms with everything you need maybe a fridge be useful particularly when hot weather. But all things considered very good. Price very good for July no issues with that . Staff friendly and helpful. Don’t believe all reviews! Some people are too quick to pull a business down. For this hotel……

“Great location and beautiful view of the water from our hotel window. The room was clean, had plenty of power outlets and had lots of space to open suitcases and relax. The building doesn't have air conditioning but they did include a fan in the room which was very appreciated. Breakfast was a little confusing because there were apparently assigned tables but we weren't aware of it until an employee stopped us while getting food. “I had a fantastic stay at this bed and breakfast with my mum. Gary and Philip were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was delicious with lots of options to choose from, providing a perfect start to each day. The property was very clean and well-maintained. One of the best parts was how quiet and soundproof the rooms were, ensuring a restful and peaceful night’s sleep. I highly recommend this B&B for anyone.”

“One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. It’s a lovely traditional hotel building (1920s shall we say?) which has been beautifully renovated and refurbished. Both the big picture and the small details are delightful. Staff service was friendly with a real sense of team and purpose. I haven’t mentioned the small outdoor pool (constant 27c) or hot tub simply because I didn’t use them this time! I can’t remember what I paid for my one-night visit but it was a bargain, and I would be very happy to……
