“Super freundliches Service-Team, versucht jeden Wunsch von den Augen abzulesen, besonders Cat !!!! Hat immer und überall geholfen, danke !!! Das Hotel und Pub sind urig aber sehr gepflegt, die Zimmer sind sehr in die Jahre gekommen, wobei die wahrscheinlich den Charme ausmacht. Das Frühstück war seht lecker 😋 von richtig englisches Frühstück bis einfaches Toast mit Marmelade. Die Bar im Pub ist sehenswert, wir hatten das Glück einen Abend mit Live-Musik zu verbringen. Das Getränkesortiment……

“Great place to stay, room in little building at the back of a courtyard, clean, super quiet and really comfy bed. The food is fantastic and staff are welcoming and friendly 😀 ”

“The staircase to our room is winding, and I need to go up and down before arriving at my room. The wall is thin and is not very sound proof, so I can hear what next door's saying and TV noise. It could be disturbing to someone during time for bed. There could be some seepage at the bath tub as there was a pool of water on the toilet floor after my shower, even though there was a glass door to stop water from splashing over to the floor. The car park is conveniently placed. The English breakfast……

“We stayed 1 nite in room 7 lovely room and amazing shower room which is an old vault only downside is it does flood the whole area but was worth it bed was comfortable it doesn’t have phone network so be prepared to use there free WiFi also doesn’t have normal tv channels you have to sign into Netflix luckily we have Netflix so was easy to do wat really impressed us was def the shower area in room 7 it was awesome we will def return to room 7 if in Swindon :)”

“We stayed here whilst competing in a qualifier at Donnington golf course, great location. Lovely comfortable room, powerful shower in bathroom. Nice to have the tea/coffee making facility in the room. Food at breakfast and in the restaurant was fabulous!”

“I had a nice small room in the hotel, lots of shops in Newbury and lots of places to eat and drink, and a nice stroll to the racecourse.”

“Old house. Small room. Light detector couldnt check movement and suddenly turn off when having the shower in the middle.”
