“The Ashley is very charming. We had a clean, lovely room with access to the porch, where we would drink our morning coffee. The breakfast sandwiches and coffee were great too. When checking in, there was a bit of a snafu with our reservation but the woman on the phone who helped me was very kind and accommodating. She immediately took care of the problem. I would definitely stay there again. ”

“My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay here. Made for the perfect Valentine’s weekend! Walkable to every restaurant and bar we wanted to explore. On a safe, relatively quiet street as well. Would definitely stay here again!”

“A friendly welcoming hotel. Lovely breakfast and great gesture of wine, beer and cheeses late afternoon, along with nightcap of milk and cookies which was a much appreciated surprise. Lovely comfy beds and everything in the room you could ever want. Another plus was the parking onsite. Would definatly stay at this hotel again.”

“From the check in process with Kim to the check out process it was amazing. The rooms were cleaned daily and every detail was in place. If you want a relaxed laid back beautiful house experience but close to everything this is it. We will definitely be back!”

“The bathrooms were inadequate. I know the hotel was built 101 years ago, but the bathrooms need to be updated. They are too small. The toilet seats themselves are for a kindergarten.”

“We used a car service transportation service from and to Charleston Airport. Uber to & from Plantation. Walked around most of the Historic District from the Hotel, a 30 minute walk to almost any where in historic district. Many casual & nice dining restaurants nearby. Only concern is we were charged a Daily Valet Service for 2 days for never having a car. Disheartening for a great trip & location until we were at airport reviewing our invoice. Called front desk and issue was supposedly……
