“Lovely country hotel with beautiful gardens and pool. We had a very comfortable 'Superior double' room on the ground floor with access to a patio area. We were in a party of 10 celebrating a friendship of 50 years duration and used the private dining area. The breakfast and dining was very reasonably priced and good and the junior staff were exceptional, however the senior staff we encountered were less welcoming. “Really friendly staff. Room was beautiful but the view was a slight disappointment due to the view as our room was at the back of the hotel. Bed was so comfortable and spacious and bathroom was very well laid out with a nice little touch of dressing gowns and slippers. Room did get a very warm at night but a fan is provided in the room. “This was a fantastic and enjoyable stay right in the heart of arundel and only a few paces from the castle. The staff were very friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble. The breakfast was simply amazing with fresh fruit cereals and a full English was of excellent taste and quality and even included black pudding! Fresh milk on a thermos flask for the bedroom read was a really nice touch and so much better to make a cup of tea than those little tins of long life in most rooms. Now I want……
