“The Woolpack Inn excelled in a lot of areas,especially with respect to parking nearby, with good food throughout and a comfortable and quiet room/suite with good furnishings, TV, kettle, bathroom-shower facilities. The staff were very helpful and the guest breakfast area very nice and friendly. If travelling again to a nearby area I would stay again if the prices remain competitive and standards maintained. “Really friendly staff. Room was beautiful but the view was a slight disappointment due to the view as our room was at the back of the hotel. Bed was so comfortable and spacious and bathroom was very well laid out with a nice little touch of dressing gowns and slippers. Room did get a very warm at night but a fan is provided in the room. A few little cobwebs on the ceiling in the corner and a little bit dusty in places, but overall nice a clean. There was a party/wedding going on at the hotel,……

“We stayed in this hotel for two nights it was lovely, central to amenities and people/staff were very friendly and very helpful, I do think the rooms need updating a little bit but they were comfortable and the TVs are not smart TVs so there is no option of netflix etc which most hotels have these days ”

“Our room was slightly small but the bed was very comfortable and clean. The heated towel rail didn’t seem to be working, probably turned off with the heating so our towels didn’t dry well, although we could have asked for fresh ones, prefer to reuse. There was plenty of easy parking. The breakfast had a good choice of hot food. It was good to have a lounge room as we were staying along with two other couples so we were able to meet there.”
