“Very relaxed hotel, beautiful large rooms and extensive grounds to walk around. Close to Bovey Tracy and Haytor Rock. The staff were really helpful and professional. The restaurant was excellent and provided a superb breakfast and dinner. We did eat in the pub which is part of the hotel (Tinpickle and Rhum) but the food was cold and service was dreadful, stick to the hotel restaurant in the conservatory! Otherwise a beautiful hotel to stay in in Dartmoor.”

“We stayed for one night only and the reception was friendly. We bought a plug-in air freshener as the room smelt funky. The single bed was uncomfortable.
