“Well located in the centre of Hexham, this is a nice hotel close to a lot of Hadrian’s wall visitor sites.
We stayed in a superior room, which nice enough. It was a bit noisy, mainly because the room was next to the lift and sound transmitted very easily through the gaps around the door. With a little bit of sound proofing, the room would have been excellent.”

“Stayed for one night just wanted a peaceful break and had an excellent experience. The grounds were beautiful and very well maintained. “I mean, Northumberland is a beautiful place, and this property was no less beautiful. “The room was spacious and had a lovely view of the river and gardens,The receptionist on our arrival was very friendly and informative, giving us some useful advice about the area, that we acted upon. We only stayed one night here and we booked an evening meal as well as breakfast. The room was nicely decorated and had a large comfy bed with pillows that were soft and fresh. The worst hotel stay in the entire trip
"Extremely poor service and stay. We were given a smaller room than we had asked for (images do not match the actual state of the room), and the air conditioner is broken; we were provided with fans but we do not have proper ventilation in our room, causing the room to be very hot and stuffy, and after taking a shower the room becomes very damp. Television does not work, and the fans aren't very good. There are also insect stains on the bedding. Service is misleading, we were told that our check out was at noon however we were urged to leave as soon as 11am came by, asking to charge us for overstaying in the hotel. Our belongings were held at the lobby as well because of this, and the staff were reluctant to return our belongings.
Extremely disappointed at the service and conditions of the hotel, will not recommend it to anyone."
