“A lovely countryside farmhouse b and b. The landlady is friendly and helpful, keen to make sure all your needs are met. My room was very comfortable, clean, warm and well appointed. “I mean, Northumberland is a beautiful place, and this property was no less beautiful. It is the most eco-conscious hotel we've ever stayed in, with it's own garden, solar panels. and I believe a rain catcher? There's so much wildlife in the area, bird feeders and cats roaming around. “Well located in the centre of Hexham, this is a nice hotel close to a lot of Hadrian’s wall visitor sites. We stayed in a superior room, which nice enough. It was a bit noisy, mainly because the room was next to the lift and sound transmitted very easily through the gaps around the door. With a little bit of sound proofing, the room would have been excellent.”
