“The hotel has recently been refurbished but still has the ‘old’ side which you can select the room for stay if you are interested in this historic experience. Those rooms will be available for cheaper prices as well. I chose to stay at the ‘newer’ side for my accommodation this time as they are usually more comfortable for a good night sleep. I was correct and the room looks amazing and spacious too! What a wonderful refurbishment with great designs. Staff were also very helpful and friendly……

“The host was there to great us with a smile. She explained everything and offered us to order breakfast but we had to leave early to catch the ferry. The room was very nice. She was kind enough to order our taxi for the morning as dover doesn't have uber. I wish we had had more time to enjoy the stunning views from the patio. I would definitely stay here again. ”

“Stayed on a Friday night as we were at a family do. Perfect for us. Had the twin. Both beds comfortable - one softer than the other. Had everything we needed. There's limited on site parking but wasn't an issue for us as road restrictions finish early evening and there's no restrictions on the Sunday. The owner was attentive and helpful. Information sheet was perfect. The breakfast was excellent! ”

“Lovely very spacious bedroom & bathroom beautifully decorated & with nice extra touches. Comfy bed. Breakfast was excellent & all the staff were friendly & efficient. Would definitely stay again. ”

“Great staff who were attentive and very helpful. Lovely room with comfortable bed, good food to, had a surf and turf which came with a lobster bisque saurce which was exceptional and something I will look for again. A nice touch I thought were the magnetic contactless charging points either side of the bed which were unexpected 10/10 for that.”

“it is in the old town center and just next to the main attractive points like cathedral. as it is a building over 500 years old, so no lift but wooden stairs only (but this is the reason i stay here). Shared toilet and bathroom is good (and you can enjoy the cathedral view when you are "relaxing"). ”
