“The room was clean, updated, staff was friendly, and our stay was overall a good experience. I only lowered my rating to 4 stars because the pool was out of commission after our first day, the view from our high floor window was of dumpsters only, and I do not like the frosted glass bathroom door for a family hotel stay. If one person goes to the bathroom in the night, the light is bright enough to wake everyone else up!”

“Room was large and comfy but what surprised me: one could stay a week or longer! Kitchenette with full frig, stovetop, cookware, dishes, cutlery, toaster oven, microwave.... Modern leather sofa, bed with a top-shelf mattress and nice bed linens. On a 90° June day, other hotel guests were enjoying the pool and exercise amenities. I was thankful for shady areas in which to park. Also, location was close to great eateries in Mount Pleasant as well as to the meeting I had scheduled . ”

“The staff was the best part about my stay. Quite honestly, I was somewhat disappointed in the cleanliness of my room. The door my room had dirt marks all over it near where the key card is used. The walls in the room had some dirt on them as well. The bathroom was very clean, however. The beds were amazing! I loved the quietness of the room. The hotel does offer a lot of options such as the champagne on arrival and the wine in the afternoons and the cookies at night, but it would be nice……

“What we love most about Residence Inn suites are the full kitchen. It's very convenient to prepare light meals, making the suite feel like home away from home. The complimentary breakfast provides enough options to make everyone happy. The Mount Pleasant location was great for a quick drive to downtown Charleston, and Isle of Palms Beach and so many other places to visit.”

“Superb place”

“The hotel overall was great. The pool area was perfect for the baseball team to play and for us to grill. The rooms were large. The one bedroom suite was nice. Our only complaint were the beds. The pullout couch in the living room was very uncomfortable. The king bed want much better. It would be great to actually have a blanket on the bed and not a mattress protector as your only covers. Very strange. Still a great stay and would definitely stay there again. ”
