“Very nice room. Lovely location. The staff were not very pleasant. I inquired if they had any in room specials that I could add for my daughters wedding night and was told no but I could have something sent and they would deliver it to the room. When checking out the next morning they were given the gift basket. When my daughter called to ask a question about check in the clerk she talked to was very rude. The property itself was wonderful. Lots of restaurants nearby.”

“This is not a five-star modern top of the line hotel. But! Don't let that fool you! It is a great hotel with everything you need for a very good price! To include the breakfast buffets is and even better deal! I have stayed at Wilderness at the Smokies multiple times and I will continue to come back to Great Smoky Resort Lodge instead! “Retro design, nice pool area, convenient spot. Hotel staff was not really friendly and there are no vending machines to grab a coke etc. Our room was at the back of the hotel and the garbage truck emptied the bins at 4:25 A.M!! one morning, needless to say it was very loud and shook us out of our bed. Also, had a room with a window that looked into a wall, not really appealing. ”

“The room is very clean. The staff members are very friendly. My only complaint is that the curtain is supposed to cover the balcony door and it would not close all the way. Meaning we had to deal with the hot sun shining in our room. Other than that the room overall is really nice. ”

“The hotel's Wi-Fi caused me a lot of trouble. It connected automatically without needing to connect but I couldn't use it. What's more terrible is that it also blocked the data signal of our mobile phone. The second point of dissatisfaction is that there are ants on the bed and floor. The third point is that there are many people during breakfast service, and milk can only be obtained by queuing in the buffet area. There should be milk in the coffee area.”
