“Spent 2 nights at St.Georges purely to go shopping at Gun Wharf. Accommendation is only a 3 minute walk away so is perfect for what we wanted. The accommendation was extremely clean and had everything we needed, there was spare shampoo and had tea/coffee/ biscuits and even a bottle of prosecco in the fridge which was a lovely gesture. We were so pleased when we arrived and saw a lit christmas tree in the lounge. It was these touches that would make us stay again. Communication was great and……

“The room is on the 2nd floor , it is too small for a family, no table , no teeth brush , no hairdryer and shower gel provided . The stairs are too steep, quite dangerous if you have baby with you. My friend lived on 1 st floor , there is no bathroom inside the room, shared bathroom is outside, they didn’t realize that when they booked the room. ”

“Chewton Glen is a glorious hotel with fabulous, well cared for grounds. (Although the patios and tables in the Croquet rooms, could do with attention)The staff are exceptional, with every individual staff member reacting promptly, to our requests. We dined at the Kitchen on the first evening, which was superb. Unfortunately, on both mornings of our stay, our cooked breakfasts were rather disappointing.
