“A great little older beach motel. Easy walk to the beach near the back of the property and restaurants within walking distance too. The village is small and mostly residential, yet there is a Food Lion and several restaurants and shops within a mile or so. ”

“This was the first time we stayed in Avon versus Duck or Corolla. We will never go back north! Avon was great! The home is a quick 7 minute walk to the Avon Pier and beach. There are restaurants and shops in walking distance of the house. There is even a farmer's market during the summer on Tuesdays - right near the house. The house itself is very new - and very clean. The owner was super responsive and our stay was amazing. We were also able to bring our pets. I can't say enough about the……

“This property is ideally located with a beautiful view of the ocean and direct access to the beach. The owners are easy to contact and answer promptly. Upon arrival there were a couple of maintenance and cleaning issues and the owners offered to immediately send over cleaners to remedy the situation. Please be aware that there is no elevator and although the property description states that there is a luggage lift, it was not working. Three flights of stairs with luggage and supplies could……

“Avon is a nice, relaxed area and the suite we stayed in was perfect for a couple to stay in. We didn’t hear much noise from the house but got all of the information we needed through messages. We didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub because of a storm but it was clean and a good temperature when I checked.”
