“This is a very charming space tailored to providing a quiet, cosy and comfortable stay. Steeped in history, this manor transports you back in time. The rooms are very comfortable, ensuring a deep rest. The restaurant serves an incredible french menu which was delicious and the attention by the host was top notch. I would definitely stay here next time im in these parts.”

“Our host Jenny was brilliant. There had been some kind of miscommunication on the booking, where other hosts would have created an issue, Jenny welcomed us and all was well. The property is very homely, in a very nice rural location, parking is within the farm, safe and secure. Jenny's team / family are all very welcoming and happy to help. Great place to stay if you're riding a motorbike, or wanting to visit Thruxton. ”

“I booked a double bed room with a sofa bed to accommodate for 3 persons. The sofa bed was found not in good condition. Hotel arranged one more single room to us without additional charge. A good customer experience to us!”

“We were very surprised to find a small and beautiful town named Lechlade nearby. And it is 45 hours' drive to Cotswold which was quite acceptable. However the room was not tidy enough but still in the acceptable range.”

“Large and good restaurant is part of the hotel. Nice breakfast included. Excellent dinner. A little short on staff, but those there were friendly and capable.”

“Truthfully it was excellent value for money, both checkin and room service staff were greet. I ended up booking an extra night and used it as a base for travel as close to motorway with no noise. Well done yo the staff once again. ”

“Excellent check in. Very friendly staff. Extremely dog friendly. Room was spacious. All the fire doors in the corridors were a bit difficult to manage, but otherwise good. Food and drink was excellent and bar staff great. Excellent location being in the middle of the high street and the canal very close by for walking. Outdoor areas of the hotel were rather scruffy / dirty. Not a particularly nice area to sit close to the car park.”

“Our stay here was fantastic. All the staff we came into contact with were very friendly and welcoming. Special shout out to Amella (so sorry if I’ve spelt your name wrong) though, so understanding and couldn’t do enough for us! Location was good, room was clean and had everything you needed. Breakfast was incredible! Would 100% recommend this place. ”
