“The worst 4 star hotel I’ve ever stayed at! When we arrived at the reception, we saw the staff were not wearing any uniform, not even smart casual, I didn’t know who was staff who was a customer, and I got confused when a person took our luggage into the storage room, I wasn’t sure if he’s legit. The bathroom drain was blocked, and one of the bathroom lights was broken. If the housekeeping had ever cleaned the bathroom, how would the hotel not know the drain was blocked? Also on the second……

“This is such a beautiful hotel. We only got to stay one night but when I return to London I’ll surely stay here again. Note it is not a hotel suitable for toddlers. They have many collectible small items and toddlers love to run away from you and touch or grab things when you don’t look for a second. The beds are super comfortable and the AC works great. “Clean and quiet environment, helpful staff ”

“The hotel is located above a pub in Hackney Central. The pub closes at 11 p.m. and I never had a problem with noise. The room was small but had a very comfortable bed. The water pressure and temperature were excellent (and I was on the 3rd of 4 floors). All staff were friendly and helpful. I loved the area - real people, no pretensions, and very few "chain" shops. It's a pleasant 5-10 minute walk to the Hackney Central overground train station.”
