“Very comfortable and beautifully clean room and en-suite. Staff all very friendly, helpful and seemed to genuinely care about our experience. Was delighted to receive a welcome email with key information a few days before arrival - requested a mattress topper and it was in place when we arrived. Breakfast absolutely gorgeous, treat to have proper toast not just warm bread. “Amazing stay this weekend at Ashdown. We were able to play tennis, use the driving range, lunch and walk around the grounds all before checking in. Room was beautiful and clean with a great view! Dinner in the restaurant and breakfast also great and generous portions. Service fantastic! ”

“This is a really great place to stay and in a great position. Newly renovated and very comfortable, great beds and good shower room. Very easy to get into the property using codes provided. Excellent value and close to the lanes and beaches. Great stay.”

“The hotel looks very new. Not sure if it’s a new built/ newly refurbished. It’s very modern and the staff there (Brighton) was wonderful and very welcoming during check in & out, luggage storage etc. Such a convenient location as it’s more or less 5 mins walk from the train station. About 15mins walk down to the seaside which is close enough. The room is clean and all essentials kitchenware included if you want to cook during your stay. We didn’t cook as there’s too much great food temptation……

“We had a lovely stay. The location can't be beat! We had many days ning and shopping options to choose from. Our stay was wonderful, clean, comfortable and very accommodating. We loved all the local art on the walls. The breakfast was perfect too! We would definitely stay again!”

“酒店位于海边，过了马路就面朝大海了。本来很喜欢酒店的服务，以前住过的。可是这次稍稍失望，我们check in在12点半，下了火车带着4岁孩子，可是却说房间没有整理好，告诉我按规定是下午3点check in的。无可挑剔的回答。只好下午3点拿到房间钥匙。酒店当天一定很少人入住，就早餐的人数不到10人，而且我退房时（11:00），明眼看到服务生带客人入住。这是我入住5星级酒店唯一的一次下午3点拿到房间钥匙。”

“We enjoyed our stay at Grand Hotel Brighton. The service was impeccable. It elevated the whole experience at the hotel despite some hits and misses. Every staff was professional and friendly (even their uniform was tastefully designed). The lobby and lounge were beautiful, giving us a really good impression of the hotel. However, while we were aware of the history of the hotel, the bathroom was a bit tricky to use. It was obviously dated and needed some refurbishment work. The water pressure……

“Lovely stay, good location and super friendly staff. Car parking is an issue as mostly permit holders unless you want to pay £14 a day. Walked everywhere we needed to once we found a space. Good continental breakfast enhanced by Valentina’s happy service! Room a bit small especially the bathroom and no lift (luckily we were only on the second floor and only had a small overnight case). Individually decorated and tastefully styled rooms. ”
