“Our 4 night stay at Palazzo Velabro was wonderful! Our room was spacious and had a large balcony that over looked a garden and faced the Palatine Hill. The location is fantastic as the property is located within pretty close walking distance to several historical sites including Circus Maximus, the Capitoline Hill, the Roman Forum and the Colosseum. We also had no problem walking up to the Pantheon or Baths of Caracalla. The Tiber River is right across the street as is the bridge to Trastavere.……

“The front desk staff were lovely people with great personalities. Top shelf! A doorman always watched the entrance The restaurant up top had the most incredible fires of Rome breathtaking A two plate dinner of less than mediocre food at five star prices But I would do it again for the view! The rooms great beds and linens No regular maid service All the metal doors and all bathroom felt like a prison No phone like a hotel for departments just regular phone. We only had housekeeping……

“Booked based on the reviews and location and so glad I did. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, staff happy to book taxis for you and answer any queries. Room lovely. No tea/coffee facilities but there was a hairdryer. Great black out blinds and a very comfortable bed. Really clean and modern. Felt like breakfast was pricey but a decent choice and all fresh. Thanks for a great stay! ”

“Have bus stop right in front the hotel door, you can take bus to every corner of Roma if you have bought a Roma pass. I reserve a Deluxe room, which is clean, and the space is excellent. I like the wash room very much, shower is perfect. Staff are very helpful, I made some mistake on booking date, they help me change that, with no extra cost! They also provide useful information if you ask. Just one little setback, the hotel is located at little distance from the central city, like 15mins……
