“This is a beautiful place and quite clean. They also have a cache of masks, snorkel, chairs and other beach items which is helpful. We used this cottage as base camp to visit Volcanoes NP. It is a good option if you have a rental car. They don't call it the "Big Island" for nothing. There is a lot of windshield time when traveling the area. “This home near Hilo was the perfect place for our Big Island getaway. The house was spotless and beautifully designed, with plenty of space for everyone—my brother, his wife, and two adult kids stayed in the downstairs suite, while I enjoyed the upstairs. “The pictures don't do it justice! We had an amazing 3-night stay with our family of 4 (2 teenagers- 13 and 16). Beautiful, relaxing house and property. Never once turned on the TV. Kitchen is well-stocked for cooking. No AC (of course), but plenty of fans for use in the bedrooms if you are a hot sleeper. I enjoyed listening to the frogs at night.
