“This is second year we have stayed here to catch early ferry to France. Beds were comfortable. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Place could go with a good clean and redecoration but cheap.”

We were in a party of 10 celebrating a friendship of 50 years duration and used the private dining area. The breakfast and dining was very reasonably priced and good and the junior staff were exceptional, however the senior staff we encountered were less welcoming. The bar closed very early (10 pm the first night and 10:30 on Saturday night) and……

“Really friendly staff. Room was beautiful but the view was a slight disappointment due to the view as our room was at the back of the hotel. Bed was so comfortable and spacious and bathroom was very well laid out with a nice little touch of dressing gowns and slippers. Room did get a very warm at night but a fan is provided in the room. A few little cobwebs on the ceiling in the corner and a little bit dusty in places, but overall nice a clean. There was a party/wedding going on at the hotel,……
