“The property was nice and close to town with lots of shop and places to eat. The room was very warm and the windows didn’t open up very far so was quite stuffy for sleeping in, but everything else was good. The breakfast was very nice and the staff were friendly”
“Although this property is small, the people running it are big hearted.
We were driving from Isle of Skye on a very stormy day when we received message from Mark and Louisa to inform us that we could checkin earlier as they did not want us to be waiting in the storm until checkin time. We were quite touched by the gesture.
The free parking was very convenient. The room was clean and well decorated. The toilet + shower were modern and comfortable.
Excellent breakfast with homemade everything.……
“My children and I recently spent two wonderful nights at Spean Lodge. Paul is the most gracious host - he made us feel at home. Our family room was spacious and very comfortable and we were treated to a delicious breakfast each morning. For supper, there’s a lovely restaurant by the train station. We also loved the beautiful woodland path to the Commando Memorial. Spean Bridge is a lovely place and a short drive to everything you want to see in the area - don’t hesitate to book. “Stunning wee "hut", very clean and cleverly stock with all your needs, superb communication lovely views and a wonderful variety of wild birds at feeder.
For something different we would recommend.”
“The view from our room was unbeatable! The breakfast was fabulous! The room was clean, plenty of room, and nice amenities. Owners were very welcoming. Loved this visit!”
“Friendly and welcoming hosts in a beautiful, historic home who were very helpful with information about the local area, including providing discount vouchers to Blair Athol distillery and Blair Castle. Great breakfast!”
"The hotel doesn’t have an elevator. I stayed on the first floor. Actually, there is a corridor between the first floor and the carpark with a few steps only. However, the receptionist didn’t told me about that. She simply told me to carry the luggages through the normal entrance and go up one floor “ONLY” . No help had been offered and she clearly knew I got a car. Nowadays, it is not usual asking the lady customers to carry the luggages going upstairs "
